The Southeast Missouri State women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss at Jacksonville State on Monday.
Southeast fell to 1-10 overall and 0-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference. JSU is 8-10 and 5-1.
Freshman Elizabeth Nyenwe continued her solid season as she earned Southeast's only point with her team-leading sixth singles win of the season. She improved to 6-5 by beating Martina Dessbesell at the No. 2 spot.
Nyenwe was leading 3-0 in the first set when Dessbesell retired.
The Redhawks host Tennessee-Martin at 2 p.m. today.
