The Southeast Missouri State women's gymnastics team finished third Sunday in a three-team meet against Oregon State and host Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.
Led by a career-best 39.025 by sophomore Alyssa Tucker for fourth place in the all-around, the Redhawks finished with a 193.300 total.
Oregon State won with a 195.975 total, while Iowa State finished at 195.700
Tucker was the highest scoring among the Redhawks in three events, including the highest individual score for Southeast with a 9.825 in the balance beam. Tucker also turned in a team-best in the floor (48.525) and uneven bars (9.775). Erin Brady and Alexis Brawner tied for team-high honors in the vault (9.775).
Southeast fared best in the floor exercise and uneven bars with 48.525 team scores. The Redhawks scored 48.500 in the vault and 47.750 in the balance beam.
Southeast returns to action Friday against Texas Woman's University in Norman, Oklahoma.
