Wilkins started strong, pinning Holt's Lauryn Holmes (12-18) in just one minute and 26 seconds and Lafayette’s Raquel Saddler (7-14) in a swift 1:45.
This momentum propelled her to the finals, where she showed technical skills over St. Clair’s Peyton Dunn (27-11), securing a convincing 13-3 major decision victory.
The Lady Bulldogs also had Ellie Douglass finish fourth at 100.
Sikeston's Ellie Douglass (26-8) started hot, pinning Lafayette's Ashlee Dakin (17-11) in 3:13 during the quarterfinals. However, Douglass lost in the semifinals to Lee’s Summit West’s Kinley Harker (26-3) by a 6-1 decision.
Douglass rebounded in the consolation bracket with a pin over Northwest’s Sara Keeton (31-5) in 4:44, but faced Dakin again in the third-place match, falling short in a 15-6 major decision.
Sikeston placed 14th as a team with 43 points, behind champion Lafayette (230), runner-up St. Clair (205.5), and Northwest (177.5) in third.
The Lady Bulldogs return to the mat at the MSHSAA Class 1, District 1 Tournament on Feb. 9.
The Sikeston boy’s team will be back in action at Paducah Tilghman on Thursday, Feb. 1.
