MURRAY, Ky. -- Southeast Missouri State University's women's cross country team won its second straight meet to begin the season as the Otahkians captured Saturday's Murray State Invitational.

The Otahkians had 32 points to easily beat runner-up Memphis, which had 77 points.

Kaci Pilcher nabbed her second straight individual title, running 12:06 over two miles.

Other top 10 finishers for the Otahkians were Amy Arteme (6th, 12:35), Jen Burke (8th, 12:40) and Jessie Thompson (9th, 12:47).

Southeast's men finished third with 102 points, well off the pace of Murray State (32 points).

For the second straight week, Blake Popp led the Indians. He was 11th in 22:17 over four miles. Danny Copeland placed 15th (22:29).
