Chaffee's softball team remained undefeated Monday by rolling past visiting Portageville 13-3 in six innings.
The Red Devils scored nine runs in the first inning and coasted as they improved to 10-0.
Whitney Horrell (5-0) struck out nine and allowed three hits.
Chaffee had 10 hits, led by Kegan Orr with three, including a triple and double. Mindy Hendrix, Rachel Hendrix and Allissa Coomer all added two hits. Orr and Mindy Hendrix both drove in three runs while Rachel Hendrix had two RBIs.

Woodland 11, East Prairie 10East Prairie's seventh-inning rally fell one run short and Woodland won on the road.
Kyla Hahn, Candice Abner and Sierra Roberts all had two hits for Woodland (8-6). Lotte Cook was the winning pitcher.

GIRLS SOCCER
St. Pius 1, Notre Dame 0St. Pius scored with about 10 minutes left in the game to hand host Notre Dame just its second loss of the season. The Bulldogs fell to 8-2-1.
"They're a very good team, very athletic," Notre Dame coach Jeff Worley said. "We had our chances in the second half but couldn't put one in."
Notre Dame won the JV contest 5-0 behind two goals from Claire Edwards.
Jackson 6, Sikeston 0Molly Hartmann had two goals and two assists to lead Jackson's road victory.
Hannah Kohm had a goal and an assist for Jackson (10-3-1). Liz Nussbaum, Shay Priester and Randi Kraust also scored goals. Whitney Dietl, Rebecca Richbourg and Erin Curtis each had an assist.
Kylie Werner was in net to record her eighth shutout of the season.
Jackson's JV won 10-0.
GOLF
Caruthersville InvitationalLogan McDonald shot a tournament-low 68 and helped Poplar Bluff win the 14-team event.
Jackson finished seven shots back and 18 strokes in front of third-place Central.
Jackson's Blake McDowell shot a 72 to finish second. Chase Walker and Gabe Seyer each carded a 75 for Jackson as they tied for third.
Central's Blake Driskell tied with Jackson's Nic Robertson for ninth overall as each shot a 78. Central's Todd Obergoenner shot a 79.

Chris Hanback struck out seven and walked four in five innings to earn the win. Alex Orr pitched two scoreless innings to close out the two-hitter.
Zach McDaniel and Jeff Daughtery each had doubles to help Chaffee (3-9) win its second straight. The Red Devils had just five hits.
Chaffee's scheduled game at Woodland today has been canceled due to the funeral for the Woodland students involved in a car accident. It has been rescheduled for May 7.
