SENATH, Mo. — Not much went right for Portageville at Senath-Hornersville on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The Bulldogs (9-7) fell 63-49 after a big run to finish the first half gave the Lions (10-5) a cushion.
Jamarion Smith scored a game-high 21 to lead Portageville, while Shane Townsend added 15.
Rico Gonzalez led Senath-Hornersville with 17, while Jaxon Layne had 15 and Spencer Goff chipped in 12.
Both teams return to the hardwood on Friday, Jan. 20.
Portageville travels to Malden (12-5), while Senath-Hornersville is on the road at South Pemiscot (4-10).
