Poplar Bluff grabs pair of wins at Van Buren Scenic River XC Run

The Poplar Bluff cross country team hit the road Wednesday and came away with team and individual victories at the Van Buren Scenic River Run.

The Mules and Lady Mules each won their respective division team titles as Poplar Bluff runners also captured victories in each race.

In the boy's race, Nick Spain grabbed first while Parker Hicks took second.

In the girl's race, Wren Cotrell finished in the top spot while teammate Marley Spain was just two spots back in third place.

Poplar Bluff had six top-10 finishers in the boys and girls races on Wednesday.
