CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team made quick work of regional rival Southern Illinois Tuesday with a 15-7, 15-3, 15-13 victory. Krista Haukap led Southeast with 13 kills and Lea Beckemeyer added 11. Amy Henken dished out 39 assists. On the defensive side, Haukap and Jackie Derwort each finished with a team-high 11 digs.

"Coming into the match we wanted to increase our intensity and this was a very intense match," said Southeast coach Cindy Gannon. "Our team is jelling together."

Southeast returns to action Tuesday at Eastern Illinois.
