The Notre Dame boys tennis team did not win a single match as the Bulldogs saw their season come to a close at the hands of a strong John Burroughs team in the first round of the Class 1 team sectional on Saturday in the suburban St. Louis area.

Notre Dame finished the season at 12-2. The Bulldogs' only other loss came to Farmington at the beginning of the season.

John Burroughs (12-2) later defeated Windsor (Imperial) 5-0 to advance to the Class 1 state tournament. The Bombers will face Mary Institute & St. Louis Country Day School on Thursday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri.
