Kuper, who was also part of the Bulldogs' two relay teams, was the area's lone finalist. He finished the 200-yard freestyle event in 1 minute, 44.37 seconds and completed the 100 breaststroke in 59.72 seconds.

By finishing in the top eight in prelims, Kuper qualified for today's finals in those two events.

Central's Jason Mercer placed 10th-place in the 50 free (22.37).
