Oak Ridge volleyball (11-10-1) pulled back north of the .500 mark after allowing just 16 total points across three sets against Eagle Ridge on Tuesday, winning sets at 25-1, 25-5 and 25-10.

Reagan Howe’s 16 kills, paired with Kinsley Bogenpohl’s seven led the Bluejays front on offense. Alivia Schilling assisted on 17 points, with Bogenpohl adding 13 assists of her own.

Defensively, Bogenpohl’s 13 digs led Oak Ridge while Katie Seabaugh added another 12. Bogenpohl’s 10 service aces completed her all-around night, solidifying a dominant night for the Bluejays.

Oak Ridge next plays at 7 p.m. on Friday at St. Paul Lutheran in Farmington, Missouri.

__Jackson 3, Northwest 0__

Jackson (19-6-1) took care of business at Northwest (1-18) on Tuesday night, winning in straight sets at 25-16, 25-18 and 25-8.

The win makes seven consecutive for the Indians, who won big against district host Northwest to improve their standing within the district, shooting for a high seed as their district seedings are soon to be released.

Jackson next plays at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at Oakville (8-10-2).

__Scott City 3, Clearwater 0__

Scott City (11-7-2) upped its win streak to three with a three-set victory against Clearwater (5-12-3) on Tuesday night, winning sets 25-16, 25-18 and 25-8.

On the kill count, Maggie Jones (10) and Alyssa Dirden (7) led the Rams while Ramsey Spinks’ 21 assists led the way in production. Dirden also provided five service aces in the win.

Defensively, Mackenzie Lawless’ 19 digs led the backcourt for the Rams while Gracie Karrenbrock and Layla Estes both added another 10.

Scott City next plays at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Woodland (10-12).

__SOFTBALL: Farmington’s big middle innings critical in downing Chaffee__

Farmington softball (17-8) got the best of Chaffee (16-5) on Tuesday afternoon, scoring five runs in the third and another three in the fourth to tack on a big lead, holding it out until the end for a big 10-2 victory in Farmington.

For the Red Devils, Ayne’ Held, Reese Van Pelt and Paige Wilhite all notched hits in the game, Van Pelt driving in two runs. Paizleigh Graham walked twice to lead the Red Devils in times reaching base.

Chaffee next hosts Fredericktown (15-5) on Wednesday.
