Saxony Lutheran tennis (14-5) made quick work of Dexter (5-13) in district play on Monday afternoon, winning 5-0 to advance to the district championship.

The Crusaders started the day with three wins on the doubles courts, with the pairings of Maggie Hillin/Abby Haley, Evie Caruso/Addie Thomason and Tali Renshaw/Sydney Ernst taking wins to open up with a big lead.

Haley and Katya Rust both won on the singles courts early on, solidifying the Crusaders’ postseason-opening win to advance.

Next up for Saxony Lutheran is a matchup for the district title at 4 p.m. on Wednesday either at Kennett or hosting Charleston.
