Missourian prep hoops roundup Feb. 23: St. Vincent and Oran girls to meet in district championship

Oran defeated Advance 53-37 in the Class 2 District 3 Tournament on Thursday at Advance High School.

The Eagles' offense was led by senior Haley Webb who finished with 21 points, followed close behind by senior Gracie Davis with 17 points. Junior Maggie Stubenrauch led Advance’s offense with 13 points and junior Kaylee Cline who finished with 11.

Advance’s season comes to an end at 6-19.

__St. Vincent 55, Greenville 27__

St. Vincent defeated Greenville 55-27 in the Class 2 District 3 Tournament on Thursday at Advance High School.

The Indians' offense was led by sophomores Allie Patrick and Haley Emmendorfer who each finished with 12 points, with help from freshman Lana Adams with 11. Junior Ashlyn West led the offense of the Bears with eight points.

Greenville’s season comes to an end at 7-18.

St. Vincent and Oran will play for the district championship at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Advance High School.
