Saxony Lutheran (10-4) scored six runs in the first three innings to push past Bell City (4-9) on Tuesday, defeating the Cubs 9-4 in Bell City. Saxony Lutheran (10-4) scored six runs in the first three innings to push past Bell City (4-9) on Tuesday, defeating the Cubs 9-4 in Bell City.

Carson Birk and Brayden Moore both finished with a hit, two RBIs and two walks a piece, with Birk homering in the top of the third. Lucas Koenig and Nolan Hale also both finished with one-hit, two-RBI performances in the win.

Saxony Lutheran pitcher Owen Tarry pitched the bulk of the game, throwing for 6.1 innings while allowing one hit, four walks and one earned run, striking out seven batters.

Baylor Eftink notched the only hit of the game for the Cubs, singling in the third inning. Kale Richardson, Fred Scherer IV and Dawson Loomes all drove in runs in the loss.

Saxony Lutheran next plays at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Advance (6-7), while Bell City moves to host Bloomfield (4-9) at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

__Perryville 9, Cape Central 8__

Perryville (6-10) kept its winning streak alive with a three-run sixth inning to secure a come-from-behind 9-8 victory against Cape Central (8-10) on Tuesday.

Troy O’Keefe led the Pirates with three hits in the win, while Adam Green and Ty Peeler paced him with two hits, one RBI and one hit, two RBIs respectively.

Cade Emmenderfer led the Tigers with two hits and two RBIs in the loss while Cole Proffer’s two hits and one RBI followed suit.

Perryville next hosts Hillsboro (11-4) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Cape Central plays at Hillsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

__Kelly 6, St. Vincent 4__

Kelly (14-5) took a 6-4 win on the road on Tuesday, defeating St. Vincent (8-7) after a three-run fifth inning propelled the Hawks to the win after outhitting the Indians 12-4.

Michael Dollins hit three times in the win for Kelly, scoring once while Dalton Forck hit twice, once for a home run, and walked once to drive in two runs. Nicholas Christian had one hit for a team-high tie at two RBIs.

Colton Essner’s 2.0 innings pitched two close the game earned him the save, coming in at the start of the sixth and finishing the game without allowing a baserunner, striking out two batters.

Simon Barber and Jacob Seabaugh both finished with one-hit, one-RBI lines for St. Vincent in the loss, with Blake Monier tallying the third and final RBI of the game for the Indians.

Kelly next hosts South Pemiscot (12-6) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while St. Vincent hosts Jefferson (9-8) on Wednesday.

__Meadow Heights 7, Woodland 2__

Despite getting out-hit, Meadow Heights (8-6) downed Woodland (11-7) by a final score of 7-2, scoring two runs in three separate innings to secure the road win on Tuesday.

Drew Thorne led the Panthers with two hits and two RBIs in the win, while Will Green’s two-hit, one-RBI day and Trae Yamnitz’s two-hits paced him.

Green pitched 6.0 innings to earn the win for Meadow Heights, allowing 10 Woodland hits and walking four batters while earning just two runs, striking out seven batters.

Josy Cook’s three hits led the way for Woodland in the loss, driving in a run. Seth Abernathy and Colton Jordan both hit twice for the Cardinals, while Grainger Yurevich’s one hit helped him to drive in the only other run in the loss.

Meadow Heights next plays at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at Bloomfield (4-9), while Woodland plays at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at Chaffee (14-5).

__Sikeston 5, Notre Dame 1__

Notre Dame (9-8) allowed a four-run first inning to put it out of the game on Tuesday, with Sikeston (4-12) cruising to a 5-1 victory at home.

Notre Dame outhit Sikeston 7-4, with Brycen Clark’s two hits and an RBI and Jack Evans’ two hits pushing the Bulldogs on offense despite just one run crossing.

Sikeston’s Noah Pruitt led the offense with two hits and two RBIs in the win while teammate Carter Crow drove in two runs. Pruitt also earned the save, pitching 4.0 innings in relief without earning a run, allowing three hits and striking out five batters.

Notre Dame next plays in the SEMO Conference Tournament beginning on Friday.

__Charleston 8, Oak Ridge 5__

Oak Ridge (5-8) out-hit Charleston in a battle of the Jays on Tuesday night but couldn’t claim the win, with Charleston (6-8) scoring four runs in the fourth inning to push past Oak Ridge.

Konner Hobeck’s three hits helped lead Oak Ridge’s offense to 11 hits, with further contributions from Tyler Bishop and Ahren Fodge at two hits each. Both Bishop and Fodge drove in two runs.

Charleston’s Chase Worthy led the Blue Jays with two hits, driving in a game-high four runs and scoring to complete a strong night on offense. William Logan hit two times in the win for Charleston, scoring three times.

Oak Ridge next plays at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at Chaffee (14-5).
