CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Second-seeded Marquand knocked off No. 1 Meadow Heights 73-67 to win the Mississippi Valley Conference Tournament.
Heath Stephens scored 37 points for Marquand (9-10), while Ryan Stephens and Jared Kunz each had 10. Meadow Heights (11-7) was led by Joey Bell (13), Josh Mayfield (12), Josh Fulton (12) and Cody Thompson (10).
Zalma hung on to nip Leopold 48-47 for third place.
Chad Wiseman topped Zalma (2-15) with 16 points. Scott VanGennip scored 14 and Josh Van de Ven 13 for Leopold (4-13).
Chaffee rallied to overcome Oak Ridge 51-45 for fifth.
Chase Eskew scored 19 and Andrew Horrell had 11 for Chaffee (5-12). Oak Ridge (6-13) was led by Clayton Ruesler (12), Alex Fadler (11) and Adam Hahs (10).
All-tournament selections included Chaffee's Eskew and Horrell, Leopold's Van de Ven and VanGennip, Marquand's Heath and Ryan Stephens, Meadow Heights' Bell and Mayfield, Oak Ridge's Jeff Cowan and Zalma's Wiseman.
In junior varsity, Meadow Heights defeated Zalma 58-52 for the title. Oak Ridge topped Leopold 46-28 for third place. Marquand defeated Chaffee 49-41 for fifth.
Riverview Gardens 90, Cape Central 83
ST. LOUIS -- Central and Riverview Gardens (7-13)combined for 67 free-throw attempts in the Tigers' loss.
Central (4-16)trailed 34-27 at the break. Ryan Delph led with 24 points; Matt Cardin had 19, Corey Bowman 12 and Anthony Harris 10.
Notre Dame 63, Springfield Catholic 43
The Bulldogs (15-6) set the tone early and held Springfield Catholic scoreless in the first quarter.
Cory Beussink and Scott Wittenborn led Notre Dame with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Trevor York scored 14 for Catholic.

Notre Dame's Lisa Millham scored 20 points as the Bulldogs, ranked fourth in Class 2A, dominated Springfield Catholic.
Deanna McCormick added 12 for Notre Dame (18-2), while Melissa Carman led Catholic with 15.
Cape Central 53, Rosati-Kain 31
Central (13-7) built a big lead at halftime and cruised from there against the Kougars (12-6) from St. Louis.
Sarah Hyslop scored 15 points as one of four Central players in double figures. Anna Brisso added 12, Alex Wieser 11 and Megan McDonald 11.
Jackson 46, Jefferson City 37
ST. LOUIS -- The Jackson Lady Indians won the consolation-bracket title of the Fisher Proline Invitational Tournament at Maryville College.
Jenna Leet had 18 points for Jackson (12-8), which defeatedWebster Groves in a semifinal Friday.
Scott County Central 47, Harrisburg, Ill. 45
MORLEY, Mo. -- Scott Central evened its record at 7-7 with the win.
Janet Penrod led Scott Central with 13 points. Brittany Godwin and Felicia Winston added 11 apiece.
