BROSELEY -- Scott City and Kelly met with totally different fates Saturday during the opening round of the 16-team Twin Rivers girls basketball tournament.

The Lady Rams regretted their 9-for-22 performance at the free throw line in their overtime setback. Ashley Lynn scored a game-high 19 points for Scott City (3-3), followed by Lisa Sanders' 13 points.

Tisha Maxwell scored 14 points to lead East Carter.

Scott City will take on Charleston at 10:30 a.m. today in a consolation game.
