The Jackson American Legion baseball team ran its winning streak to three Saturday by sweeping a doubleheader at De Soto.

Jackson won 14-11 in 10 innings and 22-12 to improve to 11-13.

"It was a good day for us," Jackson coach Mark Lewis said. "We really hit the ball."

Blake Reiminger had five hits in the opener for Jackson. Nick D'Amico and Isaac Kinnard both had four hits, while Ethan Devenport and Levi Petzoldt added three hits apiece.

D'Amico was the winning pitcher.

Petzoldt and Sam Lincoln both had four hits in the nightcap for Jackson. Reiminger, D'Amico, Jake Hime and Ryan Cheney all added three hits.

Devenport was the winning pitcher.
