While weather prevented the Farmington Invitational boys basketball tournament from finishing out bracket play, Jackson picked up a pair of victories Saturday and was declared the champion with a 3-0 mark.
The Indians knocked off Doniphan 80-74 in their first game Saturday, and came back later that night to beat St. James 61-53.
Normandy was supposed to play in the semifinals Saturday but could not make the trip south.
Jackson overcame a 26-14 first-quarter deficit with a 45-29 second-half scoring edge against Doniphan. Spencer Goodman led the Indians with 20 points, while Jake Leet and Antonio Garritano had 19 apiece.
In the nightcap, Leet led the way with 25 points. Garritano added 12 points for the Indians.

WRESTLING
The Central wrestling team opened its season with a fourth-place finish and seven medalists at the Fort Zumwalt North Tournament on Saturday in St. Charles County.
The Tigers finished behind Fort Osage, Fort Zumwalt North and Parkway North in the 10-team field.
Senior Matt Latham led the Tigers with a second-place finish at 135 pounds. Latham finished 4-1.
Desmond Howard (112), Tyler Yeargain (130), Zach Wilson (145), Garrett New (152) and Matt Smith (171) all had third-place finishes with 4-1 records. Trey Grovenor finished fourth in the heavyweight division with a 3-2 record.
