The Chaffee baseball team let a two-run lead slip away in the top of the sixth inning, but the host Red Devils polished off Twin Rivers in the 10th inning with a 7-6 walkoff victory Monday.
Landon Tenkhoff got the win on the mound for Chaffee (11-4), throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief and striking out two batters. Alec Bogenphol went 3 2/3 innings in the start, giving up three runs on four hits with five walks and four Ks.
Gabe Henson paced the Red Devils with a 3-for-5 day at the plate and three RBIs. Austin Copeland was 2-for-5 with a double and a ribbie.

Eagles winning pitcher Drew Reischman had a home run and three RBIs in a six-inning win at home.
Reischman allowed four hits in going the distance. He struck out seven batters and walked two.
Reischman also had a double and finished with three hits. Austin Eftink also had a double among his three hits for Oran, while Cole Priggel had a triple.

Freshman Kaileigh Dirden blasted a three-run home run and picked up the win in the circle as the Rams won at home.

Claire Ramsey added another three hits, three RBIs and a double for Oran (6-4), while Tatum May (3-for-3) and Hannah Scherer (3-for-4) helped the visitors to 12 total hits.
Madison Hunt and Brown picked up the only hits for Oak Ridge.
McKenzie Graviett earned the win in the pitcher's circle, throwing two shutout innings, as did Scherer in relief.
Jessica Hahs was tagged for the pitching loss for the Jays.

Perryville goalkeeper Camryn Baer stopped three penalty kicks in a shootout to lead the Pirates to victory.
Baer finished with six saves during regulation and two overtime periods.
Emma Nelson and Kirstin Jannin scored on penalty kicks for the Pirates (10-3-1), with Jannin scoring the game-winner.
Nearly three weeks after play was stopped due to weather with the score tied at 1-1, the Hawks returned to Sikeston, Missouri, and emerged with a shootout victory.
The teams picked up with 29 minutes left in the second half and failed to score over the duration of regulation and two overtime periods.
The Hawks won the ensuing shootout 3-2, with Maegan Walker, Lyndsey Powers and Marrisa Jones scoring shootout goals and goalkeeper Tori Duenne turning away two shots.
Duenne also made eight saves in regulation and overtime for Kelly (7-7).
Walker had netted the Hawks' lone goal in regulation on March 30.
TENNIS
The Tigers from Cape Girardeau broke through for their first dual-match victory of the season with a road win over the Tigers from Oakville.
Central took four of the six singles matches before securing a team victory by winning the top two doubles matchups.
Cape Central's Caleb Ambler took the No. 1 showdown over Oakville's Roger Sossick, 8-2. He also partnered with Bennett Kidd to drop Rossick and David Mixmeyer in the top doubles clash.
No. 3 Zach Brock, No. 4 Noah Orr and No. 5 Justin Nguyen were also victorious in singles action, with Brock and Nguyen joining forces for a doubles win.
