Peyton Montgomery scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Chaffee boys basketball team to a 67-55 home victory over Saxony Lutheran on Tuesday.

Trevor Morehead added 14 points for Chaffee (4-1), which led 39-27 at halftime. Layton Tenkhoff contributed 13 points for the Red Devils.

Jack Lake had a triple-double for Saxony Lutheran (3-2) with 17 points, 15 rebounds and 11 blocks. Hunter Coe added 14 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Crusaders.
