All the local high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

Layton Tenkhoff pitched a two-hitter and hit a double to lead the Chaffee baseball team to an 11-1 victory in five innings over Woodland on Thursday in Marble Hill, Mo.

Tenkhoff went the distance on the mound for Chaffee (13-1), which rebounded from its first loss of the season Tuesday. He allowed one earned run, struck out 10 and walked two batters.

Devon Ritter took the loss on the mound for Woodland (6-3). He gave up three earned runs on three hits over four innings. He struck out one and walked five.

Ben McCormick and Ritter had doubles for the Cardinals.

Seth Ressel went 3 for 5 as the Eagles picked up a conference road win in six innings.

Hunter Schlosser allowed one hit over three innings for the win. He fanned four batters and walked four.

Ben Heuring, who had two hits, and Dusty Gebhardt each had a double for Oran (8-3).

Blain Johnson took the loss on the mound. He surrendered six hits and six earned runs over three innings. He struck out two and walked six.

Steven Burton had both of Scott County Central's hits.

Leopold 15, Oak Ridge 0

Lexi Vandeven pitched a one-hitter and had two hits to lead the Wildcats to a four-inning win at home over the Blue Jays.

Ashlyn Bucher and Kacie Hampton each had four RBIs for Leopold (8-1), which banged out 14 hits. Bucher, Brittany Garland and Denai Arnzen all had three hits apiece. Arnzen had a triple and a double, while Bucher also had a triple. Hampton finished with two hits.

Vandeven struck out eight and walked one in improving to 7-1.

Josie Long and Mara Grindstaff both went 3 for 4 as the Cardinals won at home.

Kathlyn Cooper was the winning pitcher. She threw a complete game, struck out three and walked one.

Long and Rachel Poole, who had two hits, both had triples in the 16-hit attack for Woodland (9-4).

Shiann Clayborn suffered the loss in the circle for Delta. She pitched a complete game, striking out seven and walking two.

Clayborn had three hits to pace Delta, while Ciara Coomer and Abbi Brown both had two hits. Coomer and Meagan Parker had doubles for the Bobcats.

Lyndsie Robert hit a double and went 4 for 5 at the plate as the Rams notched their 10th win of the season on the road.

Becky Burger has all 10 of the wins in the circle. She pitched a complete game against the Eagles, allowing four earned runs on 11 hits, walking two. She helped herself at the plate with four hits, including two doubles.

Macy Hall added three hits, while Hailey Clayton, Shelby Rhymer and Valerie Bahr each had two hits. Clayton had a triple, while Rhymer had a double for Scott City (10-4).

Mary Clara Hayes also had a triple to pace New Madrid County Central (7-2).

The Pirates and Wildcats tied with one goal apiece on the second day of the Hillsboro Invitational.

Allison Moldenhauer scored the lone goal for Perryville (4-4-1) on an assist from Korrin Tilley.

Goalkeeper Taylor Pingel made 13 saves.

The Pirates conclude pool play today against Fredericktown.

BOYS GOLF

Ste. Genevieve Invitational

Brett Schnurbusch carded an 8-over-par 84 to tie for medalist as the Pirates finished third in the Ste. Genevieve Invitational on Wednesday at Ste. Genevieve Golf Club.

Conner Stark scored a 93 for Perryville, which placed behind Arcadia Valley (374) and Potosi (362). The Trojans won the tournament.
