The postseason honors continued to pour in for high school baseball state champion Oran with the announcement of four Eagles named to the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association's All-State Class 1 first team.

Senior catcher Alex Heuring, senior infielder Kody Moore, junior pitcher Seth Ressel and sophomore Jacob Priggel were awarded first-team status.

Six other local players were honored, including first-team distinction for Notre Dame senior pitcher Justin Landewee in Class 4, Scott City's senior catcher Ryan Fortner and senior outfielder Brett Dirnberger in Class 3, and Chaffee senior pitcher Cody Payne in Class 2.

Gaining second-team honors were Notre Dame senior catcher Chase Simmons and Saxony Lutheran senior catcher Gabe Bohnert.
