IN RESPONSE to the "Fan Speak" item about coaches not honoring their contract at a school and going to coach at another school: If a coach or teacher goes before the school board and asks for a release, this means that he or she is planning on leaving and needs only the school board's approval. A school board wants teachers that want to be in the district. Like in any job, if the school board denies a teacher leaving, this only alienates the teacher and will most likely lead to a wasted year.

Playing favorites

I WOULD just like for Jeremy Joffray to do a little more balanced reporting this season for all the schools in the area and not keep highlighting one school over and above all the rest of the schools. Everybody in town knows which school he plays favorites with. So we would just like to have more balanced reporting this school year.
