The host Delta Bobcats were among the first-day winners in the Delta New Year's girls basketball tournament.
St. Vincent, Meadow Heights and Woodland also won their openers.
St. Vincent beat Risco 71-22 in the first game behind 19 points from Courtney Besand. Lacey Siegmund and Jessica Welker both added 14 points.
Delta then rolled past Valle 62-23 as Sarah Keys netted a game-high 22 points for the Bobcats. Taylor Smith and Jodi Menz each netted 11 points.
Amanda Hendrickson scored 16 points to lead Meadow Heights to a 42-36 victory against Oran. Cheyenne King paced Oran with 15 points.
Woodland edged Chaffee 53-49 in the closest game of the evening. Taylor Steckman and Lauren Johnson each finished with 22 points for Woodland. Whitney Schlosser scored 17 for Chaffee while Amber Kirk added 14.
