Crusaders eliminated at Bloomfield tournament

The Saxony Lutheran boys basketball team was eliminated from the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Saturday with a 63-53 loss to Doniphan.

Jack Lake paced the Crusaders (3-9) with 22 points. He also had 10 rebounds and nine blocks. Gabe Bohnert added 12 points.

Bohnert scored 18 points and snagged eight rebounds in Saxony's 59-58 win over Van Buren on Friday night.

Lake had a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks.
