DeKalb (21-7)

The Tigers have outscored their opponents 41-8 in the postseason, including an 18-0 victory over Linn County in a state sectional. They followed it up with a 4-2 win in eight innings over Stanberry in the quarterfinals. DeKalb reached the state bracket with a 9-6 victory over Maysville in the Class 1 District 14 championship.

Senior Haley Donaldson leads the Tigers offensively. She's batting .458 with a team-leading 31 RBIs and 14 doubles. She also has eight home runs on the year. Juniors Courtney Shelby, a .422 hitter, and Rylee Crockett, a .386 hitter, each have 23 RBIs for DeKalb. Sophomore Morgan Parsons has a team-high .477 batting average with 18 RBIs while the Tigers are hitting .359 as a team.

Donaldson is DeKalb's ace in the circle. She's 18-5 on the year with an ERA of 1.42. She has 205 strikeouts and 16 walks in 147 2/3 innings of work. Laurel Crouse, a junior, has also pitched 12 1/3 innings with a 6.83 ERA. She has two strikeouts and 13 walks.

Canton (24-3)

The Tigers have won nine of their last 10 games, including a 17-2 win over Scotland County in the Class 1 District 12 championship. Canton knocked off Atlanta 3-0 in a state sectional before beating Pilot Grove 8-1 to advance to the final four. The Tigers have allowed only three runs this postseason.

Senior Allison Phillips is batting .465 with a team-high 46 RBIs and 22 extra-base hits, including four home runs. Jensen Crenshaw, a senior catcher, has a team-leading .574 batting average with 25 RBIs and four triples. Seven of Canton's nine starters are batting above .300, including freshman Laken Hugenberg, who's batting .363 with 26 RBIs. The Tigers are hitting .364 as a team.

Olivia Jarvis, a sophomore, leads Canton in the circle. She's 19-2 on the season with an ERA of 1.33. She has 79 strikeouts and 13 walks in 110 1/3 innings. Sophomore Brianna Caldwell has also contributed as a pitcher. She's 3-1 with a 3.61 ERA and has 10 strikeouts and 18 walks.

Norborne (26-1)

The Pirates' only loss this season came in a 10-5 decision against host Salisbury. Norborne avenged that loss with a 2-1 win in eight innings in a state sectional. The Pirates have dominated in the playoffs, outscoring their opponents by a combined 42-2. They won a 16-1 decision over Polo to capture the Class 1 District 7 crown and knocked off Weaubleau 7-0 in the state quarterfinals.

Norborne is batting .454 as a team, led by Sydney McKinney, a sophomore shortstop who's batting .714 with 52 RBIs and 22 extra-base hits. Madison McKinney is hitting .622 with 62 RBIs and a team-high seven home runs while junior Katie Wood has a .475 batting average with 26 RBIs. Two other starters -- Callie Ellis and Emma Thoeni -- are batting above .400 on the year.

Madison McKinney is also the team's ace with a 22-0 record this season. She has a 0.43 ERA with 170 strikeouts and 16 walks. Sydney McKinney is 2-0 in the circle and has a 0.50 ERA with 21 strikeouts and 12 walks in 14 innings. Norborne pitchers have a combined 0.56 ERA on the season.
