BOYS TENNIS

Sikeston 5, Cape Central 4

Cape Central nearly pulled off an upset Thursday, but visiting Sikeston remained undefeated on the season.

"It was a very good match," said Central coach Bud Craven. "We had a chance. They've got all seniors and they're undefeated. If we could have won, it would have been a great win for us."

The Tigers, now 7-4 in duals, got wins from Sean Maguire and Aaron Moore in singles. The doubles teams of Ben Roeger-Moore and Drew Seib-Andrew Skinner also prevailed.

Central's JV lost 8-2.

The Tigers are right back in action today, visiting powerful Lone Oak, Ky.
