The Central boys basketball team picked up its first home win for first-year coach Drew Church on Tuesday with a 70-38 rout of SEMO Conference foe Kennett.
The Tigers (4-5) had dropped their home-opening contest a week ago to Eureka.
Tuesday's game was the conference opener for Central.
Jajuan Bell led Central with 19 points. Kerry Walker had 16 points and George Hamilton added 14.
Central has the No. 8 seed in the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament and will face No. 9 Oran on Tuesday.

Kelly moved into the semifinals of the Lady Royals Christmas Classic with a 59-53 win against No. 5 Greenville.
The fourth-seeded Hawks will face No. 9 Twin Rivers in the semifinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night.
The host Royals got by top-seeded Doniphan in another quarterfinal on Tuesday.
The tournament's championship game is slated for 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
