Broshuis (10-0) took a 6-0 lead into the seventh before two Tigers errors led to four unearned runs on Jeff Scuderi's two-run double and Ole Sheldon's two-run single.

Another run scored in the seventh on reliever Mark Alexander's bases-loaded walk to make it 6-5.

Broshuis, a graduate of Advance High School, struck out five and walked one. Alexander pitched the final 2 1/3 innings for his 10th save.
