Southeast Missouri State University men's basketball coach Gary Garner has completed his staff with the hiring of Keno Davis as restricted earnings coach.
Davis comes to Southeast from Southern Indiana, where he served as assistant coach since 1995 and helped lead the team to a 48-9 record and two conference titles.
Davis is the son of Iowa coach Tom Davis. The younger Davis served as an undergraduate assistant for his father at Iowa from 1991-95 and graduated from Iowa in 1995.
"Keno has had a lot of good experience at Iowa and Southern Indiana and we feel very fortunate to have him," said Garner.
Davis will join Tom Schuberth and Anthony Beane on Garner's staff for the 1997-98 season.
