The Otahkians of Southeast Missouri busted loose for 53 second-half points as they debuted with a 78-74 exhibition victory over the Goldstar Basketball Club Friday night at the Show Me Center.
Eleven players found the scoring column for Southeast, which trailed 36-25 at halftime.
LaShelle Porter led the way for Southeast with 15 points while Tisa Thomas,12 points, and Lori Chase, 10, were also in double figures. Chase also turned in a team-high 10 rebounds.
Yen Quach paced Goldstar with a game-high 19 points. Lynette Mund followed with 14, Nancy Hesemann had 12 and Renee Rogliardi had 10.
Southeast overcame its 11-point deficit with a 53-38 scoring advantage in the second half.
