Cape Girardeau's Mike Brawley used an 8-iron to record an ace on hole A at Kimbeland Country Club.
The hole was playing 144 yards.
Ron Bowers, Craig Horky and J.R. Dodd witnessed the shot.
It was Brawley's second career hole-in-one.
Jackson's Jack Litzelfelner III posted a four-stroke victory to win his age division at the Gateway PGA Junior championship at Belk Park Golf Course in Wood River, Ill.
Litzelfelner shot a 71-74--145 to defeat Kobe Beasley and Frankie Thomas, who both shot 149s.
Litzelfelner strung together three consecutive birdies during his opening round and finished with five birdies and 10 pars in that round. He responded with two birdies and 12 pars in his second round.
The team of Randy Senciboy and Joe Bean took first place at the SEMO Horseshoe Association's 16-team tournament at the Scott City Knights of Columbus.
Glen Backfisch and Yvonne Schwartz finished second, while Joe Schwartz and Lachelle Cook placed third.
The team of Randy Grady and Terrie Rose won the 20-team tournament at the Oran Knights of Columbus.
Mike DaVault and Melody Williams took second, while Bob Burnett and Senciboy were third.
The next tournament is scheduled for Aug. 27 at the Scott City Knights of Columbus.
