Scott City church will have radio show

The Scott City First Assembly of God will now have a 30-minute program on KMHM 104.1. The program is an outreach to those who are looking for a church or are not able to attend. Pastor Randy Morse and the congregation invite all to listen in each Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

First Assembly hosts worship seminar

The First Assembly of God, in Scott City, is hosting a worship seminar on Saturday, Aug. 26. The seminar features Tom Kraeuter of St. Louis. Kraeuter teaches seminars across North America, is the author of 11 books and the former managing editor of Psalmist magazine. There is a registration fee for the seminar. Teen Challenge choir to be at Grace UMC

The New Creations, a men's choir from Teen Challenge International of Mid-America will be featured at Grace United Methodist Church, 521 Caruthers Ave. in Cape Girardeau, Sunday at both the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services. Their music ministry includes contemporary and traditional Gospel music interspersed with testimonials of how the members of the choir found their way out of drug abuse and other life-controlling problems.
