Marine Corps Pfc. Michael R. Snider of Jackson has completed the seven-week personnel clerk course at Personnel Administration and Legal Services School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support School at the Marine Corps Base at Camp LeJeune, N.C.

Marine graduates engineer course

Marine Corps Pfc. Nicholas R. Braeuner has graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer course at Camp LeJeune. Braeuner, son of Roy R. and Cheryl A. Braeuner of Frohna, is a graduate of Perryville High School.

Coast Guard Seaman Caleb C. Smith of Cape Girardeau recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J.

Smith is the son of Clayton L. and Lori D. Smith of Cape Girardeau.

Veterans may apply for WWII medallions

World War II veterans may apply through the Missouri National Guard for the new World War II medallion, medal and certificate and the "Jubilee of Liberty" medal for D-Day veterans.

Applications will be accepted until Jan. 1.
