Beautifully decorated homes and businesses in Cape Girardeau were rewarded Monday, as the local chamber of commerce named winners of its annual Holiday of Lights decorating contest.

Winners were named in each of seven areas of town. When possible, judges chose two residential and one commercial display winners in each section.

Residential winners are as follows:

Section 1: Angela and David Kaelin, 3115 Vail Drive, and Victoria and James Frank, 3524 Mallard Drive.

Section 2: Betty and John Sims, 1909 Drury Lane, and Marlene Golden, 1848 Thilenius.

Section 3: Amy and Ray Yager, 2129 Yorktown, and Beverly and Steve Boren, 1546 Princeton.

Section 4: Dorothea and Jerry Worley, 1005 Wolf Lane, and Maryjo and Richard Dirnberger, 3602 Julie Drive.

Section 5: Rhonda and Charles Seabaugh, 1115 Hilldade Circle.

Section 6: Nina and David Marshall, 319 E. Cape Rock Drive, and Evelyn and Eugene Kasten, 1516 Price.

Section 7: Ladeana and Tom Nelson, 1810 Montgomery, and Patricia and Raymond Pulliam.

Commercial winners included the Missouri Veterans Home, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 1707 Lacey St., Union Planters Bank, 101 S. Mount Auburn Road, Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel, 1904 W. Cape Rock Drive, and Hutson Furniture, 21 S. Main St.
