RPI MICHAEL HUTCHINS
U.S. NAVY
RPI Hutchins is the son of Jim Hutchins of Farmington and LaJune Hutchins of Arnold, formerly of Cape Girardeau. He graduated from Central High School in 1980 and joined the Army the same year.
He was a Religious Programmer at Camp Pendleton, Calif., before being deployed to Saudi Arabia in September with the 11th Marine Regiment.
His wife, Ginny and their three children, Tricia, 9, Jerry, 8, and Michelle, 6, remain at Camp Pendleton.
Hutchins was the first man in Navy history to go through U.S. Marine Corps basic training and ITR (Infantry Training Regiment) while remaining in the Navy.
He would like to hear from friends and family, and asks that everyone continues to pray for the soldiers in the Gulf.
