The following information was released by the office of federal prosecutor Catherine Hanaway for defendants who appeared in federal court Tuesday before U.S. District Judge Charles A. Shaw:
Name: Juan P. Ramirez
Age: 25
Residence: Senath, Mo.
Charge: Distribution of methamphetamine.
Sentence: 63 months in prison.
Details: Ramirez admitted to selling half an ounce of meth to a confidential informant for $900 on June 29.
Name: Kempheny Stewart
Age: 28
Residence: Blytheville, Ark.
Charge: Distribution of methamphetamine.
Sentence range: Up to life imprisonment and a $4 million fine.
Details: Stewart admitted to providing another man with 11 to 12 pounds of meth for distribution. Sentencing is Dec. 11.
