The Xi Nu Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Feb. 16 at the home of Cindy Propst.
Tammy Hahs, vice president, led the meeting. There were six members present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Five members attended the Valentine banquet hosted by Torchbearer Epsilon. Those who attended had a great time and while there crowned Renee Hesselrode as new Valentine queen.
Xi Nu Phi will host an Easter egg hunt for Lambda Omicron on March 19. The chapter will also help at the Special Olympics event that Cape Girardeau will host on April 9.
Cape Girardeau Mayor Harry Rediger presented the program, giving members updates on what is happening around Cape Girardeau. He also talked about the upcoming issues on the April ballot.
The next meeting will be Tuesday at the home of Sandy Ross.
The John Guild Chapter met Feb. 17 at Riverside Regional Library in Jackson. Marti Strickland, regent, presided. Six prospective members were presented for membership and were unanimously approved.
Hostesses were Pam Johnson, Beth Biri and Bonnie Macke.
Following the business meeting Julie Robinson, vice regent, presented a program on the Old State House in Boston.
The next meeting will be held at 1 p.m. March 16 at the Trail of Tears State Park visitor center. Hostesses will be Jan Chamberlain and Jerre Crites.
