Alspaugh enjoys the variety his work day brings.

"It's a challenge every day to come up with customized plans for different people," he said.

Alspaugh finds time to work with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and with the Optimist Club. Mosley says Alspaugh is settling comfortably into life in the community.

"I have known him when he was single, married a nice young woman from Chaffee, Danielle, who works at SEMO in an administrative role and is also the Dance Team coach. Brock and Danielle had their first child [recently] -- a baby boy."

Alspaugh finds satisfaction helping people plan for their future.

"Once I know people are getting what they need, that inspires me -- to know I am helping people achieve their financial goals," he said.

In addition to being what Mosley calls "a No. 1 dad and husband, "Brock is a wonderful young man, one of those people you call if you need a hand to pick you up. He is very thoughtful and appreciates others."
