Southeast Missouri State University has given the Arthur H. Mattingly Award to a couple who graduated in 1995 with historic preservation degrees.

Stephen Rogers and Michelle Saxman-Rogers of Pierre, S.D., received the award at Southeast's historic preservation spring banquet.

Stephen Rogers is the historic preservation coordinator for the South Dakota State Historic Preservation Office. His wife is a historic preservation specialist and architectural historian.
