The ninth annual Women in Agriculture Conference will be held Sept. 15 through 17 at the Victorian Inn in Cape Girardeau. The conference is being billed as for anyone "actively involved in your farm, have a career related to agriculture or have farming interest of any kind."
This year, the conference will feature such topics as value-added ag, women's health, how to detoxify a home, gardening and a variety of other topics. There will be a vendor show, a keynote speaker, a banquet, live entertainment, a tour of area cotton and rice farms and an opportunity to talk to local rice and cotton producers.
