What motivates or inspires you?
My family, my faith and especially my wife motivate me. My wife and my family are always very encouraging and allow me the time I need to devote to work and my other activities, even when I am away from home for my various civic and volunteer activities.
What do you consider your greatest professional accomplishment?
My greatest professional accomplishment is completing all of the course work and completing the Certified General Exam and becoming a Certified General Appraiser. I was able to accomplish this while being a single father raising my two daughters, working full time and operating my commercial cleaning business. I was also able to continue my community service involvement during this time.
What is most satisfying about your work?
The most satisfying thing about my work is the opportunity that I have to help people with their real estate valuation needs. My job allows me to complete real estate valuations on various types of properties including commercial properties, vacant land and single family and multi-family real estate. It is very satisfying helping clients from financial institutions to individuals determine the value of their real estate holdings and solving complex valuation issues.
