In 1989, Dan Todt and his wife Dianna started Southeast Fabricating Inc. with three other employees. The business now has 16 full-time employees.
In May 2019, Southeast Fabricating celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company has established a reputation that is as strong as the steel in the products they sell. "We've never had an outside salesperson," Dan says. "Our business has grown on its own reputation."
The company specializes in custom steel fabrication, welding repair and steel sales with qualified welders for stainless, aluminum, mild steel, cast iron and cast aluminum.
Southeast Fabricating sells various types of steel, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel in the form of flat bars, angles, beams, rods, pipes, sheet metal and grading. These products can be cut to size. Industrial parts such as bearings, sprockets, augers and belting can be ordered and delivered in 24 hours if in stock. Dan is also a partner in a local business called Metal Cutters, LLC. This company has a computerized torch cutting machine and plasma that cuts metals of various sizes and thicknesses to various shapes based on customer specifications. This company works hand-in-hand with Southeast Fabricating.
Walk-in customers are always welcome. No job is ever too small.
