Plaza Tire Service

Plaza Tire Service increased its service to north Cape Girardeau with a new 10-bay store located at 1638 N. Kingshighway, replacing a nearby four-bay location.

Hours of operation have been expanded since the move; it is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The store does not require appointments but customers may set up appointments by calling 573-339-0019.

Plaza Tire Service also maintains two other Cape locations on William Street and Siemers Drive and has served Cape since Vernon "Pee Wee" Rhodes established it there as a hand-operated car wash in 1963.

The company now consists of 49 locations.
