Bob Stumpf has been promoted to the position of managing director at ARCH Air Medical Service, headquartered at St. Louis.
Stumpf has been with ARCH Air 16 years. He has been serving as director of flight operations. He is a licensed pilot, flying fixed wing and emergency medical service helicopters and other aircraft.
ARCH Air Medical Service started 21 years ago, and operates fully-medically equipped helicopters from bases in Cape Girardeau, St. Louis, Chesterfield, Mo., Joplin, Mo., and Sparta, Ill. A new base will be added at Litchfield, Ill., in the spring of 2001.
ARCH Air is a subsidiary of Air Methods Corp., based at Denver, Colo.
