Cunningham, 30, is a 1989 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1994 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism.
She began her broadcast career with NBC-affiliate KTAL-TV in Shreveport, La., and worked for KAIT from August 1997 through May.
