PERSONNEL: JOINS PET HOSPITAL

Jim Pratt has joined LaCroix Pet Hospital as an associate veterinarian.

Pratt, a graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, had worked at the Columbia Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian. His wife, Dr. Julie Harper Pratt of Jackson is in her second year of dermatology residency at the UM-Columbia School of Medicine.

Pratt, formerly of Sikeston, worked at LaCroix Pet Hospital while attending Southeast Missouri State University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in biology.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.

Pratt and Dr. Gwenn Freitag, owner of LaCroix Pet Hospital, recently attended the North American Veterinary Conference, held at Orlando, Fla.
