Johnny Ray Conklin of Kelso, Mo., who represents Cape Girardeau County on the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Southeast Missouri, recently attended the Governor's Conference on Workforce Development at Tan-Tar-A Resort.
Conklin attended various workshops dealing with job development and changes in the work place. WIB is made up of two private sector members from each of 13 counties in Southeast Missouri. Conklin is one of the private sector members from Cape County. J.J. Williamson of Cape Girardeau is other representative.
