Richard Brown of Bangert Ford Tractor Sales of Jackson recently attended the New Holland Parts Expo '94, held this month at Bally's Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas.

The event was held to provide dealerships the opportunity to share ideas, learn about future sales and marketing techniques, and purchase parts for their dealerships at special discount prices.

W. T. "Tom" Kennedy, New Holland chief operating officer, attended the convention. He noted that 1995 is the 100th anniversary of New Holland equipment.

Andy Perry, Cape Girardeau Regional Airport operations manager, and Doug Leslie, assistant city manager-public works director. recently attended the Missouri Airport Managers Association (MAMA) meeting in Kansas City.

It was determined during the meeting the Cape Girardeau airport will be the host of the MAMA spring conference, May 11 and 12.

Jerry L. Reppert, chairman of Reppert Publications in Anna, Ill., has been elected to the board of directors of Lakeland Publishers, Inc.

Lakeland, with corporate offices in Grayslake, Ill., publishes 14 weekly newspapers and number of speciality publications.

Lakeland recently completed acquisition of large shopper publications from Pulitzer Publishing of St. Louis, with a weekly circulation of more than 100,000 in northeastern Illinois.

William H. Schroeder is president of Lakeland Publishers.

Jeff Pool of Jackson was winner of two round-trip tickets to Chicago on Trans World Express during the recent open house held at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport. The prize was given by TWE.

Helen Koenig of Cape Girardeau was winner of a weekend at the St. Louis Frontenac Hilton, given by Elite Travel.
