Mary Kay honors top performers

The Jana Jateff unit with Mary Kay Cosmetics recently honored top performers for the year at a picnic. Husband of the Year was Freddie Wilferth of Advance, Mo.; Miss Go Give, Joyce Griffith of Cape Girardeau; Miss Enthusiasm, Shelly Wilferth of Advance; Miss Mary Kay Image, LaDonna Hengst of Cape Girardeau; Most Consistent Performers, LaDonia Beggs of Jackson and Kay Waller of Cape Girardeau; Rookie of the Year, Rhonda Painton of Bell City, Mo.; Queen of Sharing, Gail Sanchez of Cape Girardeau; Adoptee of the Year, Donna Shelton of Piedmont, Mo.; Court of Sales 6, Rhonda Painton; Court of Sales 5, Chanel Tucker of Cape Girardeau; Court of Sales 4, Sherry McCall of Van Buren, Mo.; Court of Sales 3, La Donia Beggs; Court of Sales 2, Gail Sanchez; and Queen of Sales, Kay Waller. Robinson Construction welcomes new hires

Robinson Construction Company is pleased to announce the recent addition of two employees at its main office in Perryville, Mo. Brian Bruns joins Robinson Construction as a project engineer. Bruns attended Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Missouri-Rolla where he earned a degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering. Jennifer Fritsche has joined Robinson Construction as a payroll/accounting assistant. Fritsche will be responsible for assisting the payroll and accounting departments with day-to-day transactions. Fritsche attended Jefferson College and Southeast Missouri State University where she earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources.

Gillard publishes article

Grant Gillard of Jackson has had an article, "Has Beekeeping Become A Game Of Attraction?" published in the September issue of The American Bee Journal. The article was an effort to address a response to the continual dying off of honeybees. Gillard is a beekeeper, honey producer, vendor at the farmers markets in Jackson and Cape Girardeau and past-president of the Missouri State Beekeepers. past-president of the Missouri State Beekeepers.
